  Dan and the staff at Wilson Memorial Service went over and beyond to serve our family during the death of our son. Great company with a heart for those going through a most difficult time. Not sure about some of the comments about them being rude but many times the family the funeral home is serving will request that things be handled a certain way but many times those visiting are determined to do things their way. Those comments seem to be out of character for him or his company.

  Mr. Shackleford took such wonderful care of our family when my mom passed! Anything we needed was taken care of almost before we thought of it. He was so respectful of the many emotions that we were dealing with and yet made the process as easy as possible. No detail was forgotten. I highly recommend Wilson Memorial Services to any family needing these services.

  The building is nice. That is the only thing I can say positive about Wilson Memorial Service.
  Mr Dan Shackelford is a very rude man. I was at a funeral for a dear friends Mother. And Mr. Dan Shackelford was very rude to me and My Very Pregnant daughter-in-law.
  A word of warning you may be mourning a loved one but your friends could be very insulted by Mr. Dan Shackelford.
  Please make sure every one of your friends gets a copy of his personal " Funeral Protocol"
  I will recommend the following funeral home in Wilson, NC:
  Use Joyner's Funeral Home..They care much more for the loved ones, both friends and family.
